Hi, I’m Carley.

I help schools turn their vision around equity and PD into practice. As a coach, I help leaders navigate their careers with authenticity and intention.

Why do we keep investing in equity work and professional development that doesn’t actually change how the school functions or how students learn?

I help schools and educators move from "We value this" to "here's how it shows up in our practice." After years of doing this work from inside schools — leading DEIJB efforts, coaching and observing faculty, mentoring and onboarding leaders, and navigating conflict and harm — I’m supporting organizations in a new way.

I offer consulting around faculty professional development, community and belonging, and effective leadership, and provide 1:1 Coaching, detailed further below.

What I Offer

I partner with schools who want to build inclusive communities and systems, and design PD that is immediately applicable for faculty, impactful for student learning, and sustainable.

My work is for institutions who want more than out-of-touch PDs, or surface-level belonging statements, and are ready for deeper follow-through.

With the overwhelm and capacity limitations inherent in many school roles, I aim to be a resource and strategic partner for navigating a problem and implementing lasting change.

I believe deeply in this work and its criticality for student success, and it’s only effective when it is sustainable, accountable, and human-centered.

Consulting

I aim to be a listening ear and thought partner for those on their own journeys in or around schools — for those transitioning into a new leadership role, Heads of School navigating complex moments, staff members who want to move to the student-facing side, leaders struggling to balance their careers with parenting, and more. I am grateful for the leadership coaches I've had in my career, and coaching is my way to pay it forward.
